THE RED WAREHOUSE
The warehouse was built in the 1930s by the Danish Fertilizer Company and was a grain and fertilizer warehouse until 1980. For many years, the building was called the Bull Warehouse, as the sulfuric acid logo was a bull’s head. After 1980, the building was open and was used for parties and music, among other things. Later, Hobro Municipality bought the warehouse and restored it. This is where it got the name The Red Warehouse. When not housing UGE33, it is used as a cultural center that can be borrowed by the municipality for concerts, exhibitions and similar events. With its rustic appearance – raw beams, high ceilings and beautiful skylights – the Red Warehouse is an experience in itself.
